Quebec Nordiques - Last team picture

I was surfing the internet recently and found this link to the last team picture of the Quebec Nordiques. Aside from myself in this picture (top left if anyone is looking) there are also some great players on this team including: Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg, Mike Ricci, Adam Deadmarsh, and Wendel Clarke. We actually won the Presidents trophy that year which was the strike shortened season. We lost to the eventual Stanley Cup Champions NY Rangers in the first round in 5 games. We should have beat them!! We won the cup the following year as the Colorado Avalanche...

Lorne Goldenberg Profile

Award-winning strength and conditioning coach and best-selling author, Lorne Goldenberg, is the owner of The Athletic Conditioning Center (ACC) and Strength Tek Fitness & Wellness Consultants, a corporate fitness chain that provides wellness and fitness to over 20,000 people in North America. He holds an honours degree in Physical Education from the University of Ottawa and is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.

Sought out by professional and prospective players in the NHL, CFL and OHL, Lorne brings over 20 years of experience of training athletes at a high performance level. As strength coach for the Montreal Canadiens hockey team, Lorne was instrumental in preparing the team for its long playoff run in 2010. Throughout his distinguished career, Lorne has also worked with the Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators, Ottawa Rough Riders, St.Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks, Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, Windsor Spitfires, Owen Sound Attack, Ottawa 67’s and the University of Ottawa Football Team. NHLers Daniel Alfredsson, Daniel Briere, Corey Stillman, Zach Bogosian, Jeff Skinner and Matt Bradley are just a few who seek out his expertise. In 2009, Lorne joined former client Gary Roberts in his new pro hockey training business in Uxbridge Ont, where the client list includes Steven Stamkos, Mike DelZotto, Steve Downie and 23 other NHL and OHL players.

In addition to co-authoring the best-selling book Strength Ball Training, published by Human Kinetics, Lorne has had a numerous articles published in journals and magazines such as Men’s Journal, Physical, and Ironman. Strength Ball Training, co authored by Peter Twist, is now in its 2nd edition and has sold over 70,000 copies worldwide, and has recently been translated into Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese.

As a conference presenter Lorne has established himself as one of the key sources for the major fitness and health conferences in North America.
